Abstract
The Abalos & Herreras archive at the CCA documents the activities of the architects lnaki Abalos and Juan Herreras over the course of their firm's existence from 1985 until 2008. It also provides a record of their writing, teaching, curating and research. The archive contains over
16,000 photographic materials, approximately 6,000 drawings and over 5 linear metres of textual records. It also contains models, collages, floppy disks, DVDs and maps. It is arranged according to three series: Architectural Projects; Exhibitions, Teaching and Writing; and Office Documentation. Kersten Geers and David Van Severen, Juan Jose Castellon Gonzalez, and Florian ldenburg and Jing Liu selected material from the Abalos& Herreras archive to unpack.
